XOPP offers a more modern and playful restaurant experience, a next generation reiteration of the Golden Century Group; coupled with familiarities and tributes to the original Golden Century which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.
XOPP will be a nod to not just an iconic and much-loved signature dish, but to the institution that Golden Century has developed over the past 30 years.
Enjoy an innovative yet traditional Cantonese focused menu in our beautifully designed dining room overlooking the greenery and waters views of Darling Harbour, or for a more exclusive experience, dine in one of our three private dining rooms.
Unique to XOPP, a bar with smaller sized dishes and experimental snacks will also be on offer, matched with a wine and drinks list curated by Jon Osbeiston, also wine director of Golden Century Wine Bank.
XOPP is located on the mezzanine floor of the Darling Square landmark, The Darling Exchange, designed by world-renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and surrounded by almost 20kms of timber slates that envelope the façade of the building.
Interiors are designed by Alex Wong of Paring Onions Design, based out of Hong Kong, and also behind the award winning interiors of The Century at The Star and Golden Century Wine Bank at Sydney’s Chinatown. XOPP will be minimalist, sleek and a dark contrast to the striking suspended colourful installation from artist Nike Savvas that will traverse the mezzanine and ground floor.
